" As a singer-songwriter and a storyteller, I aspire to learn a lot of musical skills, create a lot of music, write more stories, perform my originals on as many stages as possible, to reach the widest of corners"

After disappearing from the contemporary scene for over 8 years, Yuaan is back to providing recreational music with his three singles incorporated with two music videos. Being taught music at a young age by his mother who does not come from a trained musician background but shares a general fondness for it, an adolescence filled with singing competitions and dancing classes was gifted to him. Being raised in the '90s/2000's Bollywood era, there was an evident exposure to entertainment and Indian compositions. Dating back to 2007, the young eleventh-grader experimented with Sufi and Indian classical music to produce his first song.

"It originated through a small melody which I used to casually play on guitar. One day a friend heard that, found it catchy, and asked me to put some wording on that. There was one popular Emraan Hashmi song those days, and somehow the 3 words from that song's title instantly clicked in my mind, and using those I came up with my original lyrics"

This innovation continued till 2011 when the young artist decided to take this to the next level by recording and releasing his first single "Ignite", a song taking elements from the hip hop genre, heavily inspired by the emerging rap artists in the golden age of hip hop like Yo Yo Honey Singh. With an enthusiasm to improvise not only as an artist but also as a storyteller, there was an urge to explore more divisions of music and make wilder memories. Being sparked with a dream to perform and be heard by thousands, this hunger for prosperity kept him engaged during his early stages of life. With the uploading of his first music video " Teri Yaari" back in 2014, there was a massive vacation period witnessed of a total of 8 years with no single release or anything. Cut forward to 2022, and he's back with the same charisma, with a much more mature voice with three singles.

"One thing I have learned is that as necessary it is to keep working on your skills, it is also important to parallelly keep creating & performing based on the current skill set, maybe in small chunks, be it offline or online."

Till now with all his songs having a different linguistic/lyrical approach, "Nakchadi" is the one standing victorious as the artist's favourite. Being written in 2013 and released in 2022, the song still holds a very unique place in his heart. Holding a sentimental intention that can be heard through the speakers, the songs stand out as a perfect fusion of romance and quirkiness. Dealing with the duality in efforts and intentions that can be seen in most relationships, the love that preserves that love and makes the relationship more special is portrayed brilliantly.

"Generally, I do not specifically sit to create music. It just comes naturally, some melody out of the blue or some emotional inspiration, and once something interesting strikes I get into a relentless zone, where I have to put some words and come up with the hook at least. Once that is done then I calmly analyze what should the song as a whole convey through the verses."

His latest tracks have an upbeat-funk quirky sound, inspired by A.R Rahman and Amit Trivedi. When asked about the sound we can expect from him in future, Yuaan replies that he has many other ideas and ambitions that he wants to take further by introducing and experimenting with different genres. The main objective is to not stick to a single sound but to always evolve sonically and emotionally. Diving deep into the big ocean of voices and melodies, it's a journey about self-exploration and culmination.  Currently working on the production of two songs followed by putting together a reprised version of "Mere Ghar Se". With more projects planned for the future, it's hard to figure out the next steps of Yuaan, keeping us marveling and awaiting.
