Emerging from Kolkata's vibrant music scene, ‘SoHumble’ is making waves with their debut EP ‘Shuruaat’. The band acknowledges that their sound has evolved with ‘Shuruaat’, but they leave it up to their audience to decide how. "We believe that every song is an experience of the moment. Our focus is on enjoying the process of making music, rather than worrying about comparisons to our past work. That’s for the audience to determine."

One of the creative challenges they faced in the making of the EP was the process of writing lyrics in Hindi, especially after the music had already been composed. "When the music comes first, it already sets the emotional tone of the track. Finding the right words and themes that fit within that framework can sometimes be a challenge. It’s about making sure the lyrics complement the emotion the music has already created."

Despite these challenges, ‘SoHumble’ hopes their audience finds meaning in the songs in their own way. "Our music is meant to evoke different emotions and experiences for each listener. We don’t want to dictate how people should interpret the songs. If listeners can relate to what we’re saying, or if they find peace in our music, that’s the ultimate reward for us."
