Taking one step at a time on an everlasting pursuit of success in the music industry, Ahmad Shaad Safwi's latest single "Sahiba" is the epitome of the fact that even after serving us for over 10 years, he still has more to offer to the listeners and the world. Being brought up in the age of Doordarshan, peak Indian television drama and radio stations, our sprouting musician was able to discover his absolute love for art at a very young age. When we asked him about his earliest memory related to music, he recalled his early childhood days when humming songs was not just a source to keep himself entertained but also provided him immense joy and serenity. These innocent nostalgic recollections are what led to his development of this budding attraction towards music.
"The first time I sang a song publicly was in 3rd standard in school and I was very happy after a
mind-blowing performance of mine. That made me realize I might have that in me but it was only when I reached 12th standard did, I perform in School on the stage"
Behind the layers of "Chal Diye"
It was not until 2015 that Ahmad started to chase this passion much more seriously after writing and making his first song titled "Chal Diye". Initially starting as only two lines, continuous developments were made converting the lines into a paragraph converting into a proper song. The song was featured on MTV Indies in collaboration with close friend Adil Nataf. In the crucible of experience, "Chal Diye" emerged as a haunting melody that navigates the labyrinthine corridors of heartbreak, questioning the enigmatic dance of fate that leads two souls astray.
"Looking back now, it’s almost a decade hence, I am filled with profound gratitude for that pivotal moment. It was a catalyst, an impetus that propelled me into a realm where words danced with melodies, and emotions flowed freely like rivers of ink. From that moment onward, I found myself on a ceaseless odyssey of creativity, each song a testament to the transformative power of introspection and self-expression."

Due to his love for acoustic guitar, when the song was released fully fleshed and produced with composition by Rishit Chauhan, it left an unsettling feeling in his heart with the need to release an acoustic version with a more effective and personal delivery. What do we get in return? we get an extravaganza of the sincere connection of love, even when worlds apart, creating a symphony that transcends physical boundaries. Being very simple and honest in his writing process, there are many traces of influences that can be found in his music. When we further inquired about his influential figures, our Lucknow hailed artist named a few artists like Strings, Lucky Ali, Silk Route, and Vital Signs.

"There are two new singles planned for 2024 and the major focus will be on releasing a long-running debut full-length album which is a collection of my emotions and mind state for the last two years. I have started working on the album since lockdown and it has been the biggest learning curve of my life in terms of music, songwriting, philosophical approaches, talking about issues, and observations."
