"According to my mom, she always dreamed of her son being a musician when I was still in her womb. So, who knows? Maybe all my music is simply a result of her dream."

A protostar revolves around the notion of a Star being cultivated in a vacuum. In a galaxy filled with infinite luminance, a protostar is one who's destined to follow this stream of radiance. After finishing this read, you will understand the illumination of a surging singer, and how he connects to a protostar.

Being born to a mother who always dreamed of giving birth to a musician, it was not long before our young prodigy was able to figure out his way around sounds and music. Having numerous obstacles faced while pursuing his heart, the desire to keep thriving pushed him to eliminate the challenges. At the young age of 5, he started singing and incorporated his voice into instruments by taking his first guitar lesson in middle school. There were many more pages to unravel into his story, but this was just of the origin of our protostar, Pratham Aggarwal.

There was a visible significance of growth as an artist in him at a very young age. When asked about his first song, he recalls back to his school days when he wrote his first song "Kehdo Na Tum Ho Mere".

"I think my mom still has the diary in which I wrote my first song for this girl I used to like back in 6th grade. It is still unreleased and has only been heard by a few. I am lowkey proud of it"

Being schooled in an international institute, ample exposure was provided to the singer of "Feels Like A Zid". With the realization of the fleeting time and department of friends, he released his first song "Yaara". A track cherishing memories and friendship. With such an extended discography, when asked about his writing process, Pratham replies that he writes songs only for himself. Summarizing and evaluating his life, there are various unreleased lyrics kept somewhere in his journals. When asked about his latest single "Baawla”, it’s a part of his upcoming EP " Khat" which has already been completed but will be released to the world when it settles right with him.

With an articulated music career, he believes his understanding of music and songwriting has improved a lot. When asked to describe his music in simple words, “the human experience from the life of another commoner”. Being heavily inspired by modern-day artists who show vulnerability in their lyrics like Anuv Jain and JP Saxe, he wishes to reveal more openness and compassion in his future music.

But all this music stuff does not hide his main vision for the future. Providing us with an utterance and a glimpse of society's resistance to art in his single "Feels Like A Zid", Pratham wishes to pursue a journey to help people express their creative selves. Back in 2022, " Sunhera Bachpan" was a non-profit organization aiming to bring visual and performing arts to the underprivileged in India.

"It is now as of recently a registered entity and I have big plans for it that I would love to share in the future as I actualize them"

Age plays an important aspect in determining the quality, our brain also enriches just like wine. Even at such a young age, he is aware of his next steps and is determined to achieve them. To him, providing vulnerability in his lyrics holds a significant place in his heart. As time passes, we can expect much finer verses and songs. A protostar is a star that has not yet consumed all the interstellar gases around its surroundings and is yet to ignite. It is just existing around the universe just to be ignited in a second to become a star. If you have not figured out the connection between Pratham and a protostar by now, you will be too late to acknowledge this gifted artist's fame. Right now, all that is left to see is this voyage of this protostar surging towards stardom.
