Let's take it back to March 9th, when Anti-Social was buzzing for Lit 3, courtesy of the cool boys at Itihaas Studio. This gig wasn't your run-of-the-mill show, it was a full-on journey through Pune's hip hop scene, giving a big shoutout to its influence on Indian music.
Remember when Pune's music felt like the underdog in the whole Delhi versus Mumbai hip hop showdown? Well, Itihaas changed that narrative. If you haven't heard of Vedang and Shreyas, you seriously need to up your music game. Vedang is like the Gordon Ramsay of cooking beats – precise, flavourful, and downright perfect alongside Shreyas, a luminary in the battle rap domain, spearheaded the inception of Itihaas Studios along with Tilted Rayz and Shanu, etching their indelible mark on the industry.

Now picture this: Itihaas crew hitting the stage, feeling like the Avengers of music. Devonian and Vedang's beats were fire, keeping everyone on their toes. And those mosh pits? Proof that the music was hitting all the right notes. Starting things off, Mridul Kala's DJ set along with Ivaan was insane, it felt like the grand finale closing and not like the opening set! Then came Versatiles duo, Shanu, and Tilted-Rayz, flipping genres and hitting us right in the feels, tugging at heartstrings with their tracks, evoking a spectrum of emotions from heartache to unbridled jubilation. And Nerak? Pune's lyrical wordsmith, whose debut EP 'Shikshan' reverberated through the venue with unbridled passion. Dude didn't just perform, he roared on that stage. But let's talk about Mira Road's finest 'The Siege.' His stage presence? Next level. His music? Straight from the heart, making you feel every word, a phenomenon in his own right, whose aura and lyrical prowess left an indelible imprint on the hearts of all in attendance. But the stars of the show? Vedang and Shreyas. They're the kings of Marathi hip hop. Seriously, give 'Paristhiti' or 'Uddhat' a listen, and you'll be hooked. And those unreleased tracks? Shreyas's 'Khankhanit' and 'Taambdi Chamdi' had us begging for more. And who could forget 'Taadkefaad'? Played four times, and the energy never dropped, a certified banger!

And as the lights dimmed and the echoes of Lit 3 slowly faded away, it's crucial to reflect on the significance of supporting emerging talents. Too often, we find ourselves sleeping on exceptionally talented artists, overshadowed by mainstream acts. But trust me, as someone who's been to countless concerts, music fests, and gigs, this show was a testament to the raw talent and sheer passion that these underdogs bring to the table. I'd gladly pay thousands for an experience like Lit, and it would still be worth every penny. Because it's these artists, these trailblazers, who are shaping the future of music. Itihaas Studios isn't just a name, it's a movement, a promise of what's to come. So, let's stop sleeping on good artists and embrace the future, because indeed, 'Itihaas is the future.'
Talking about his future goals and plans, he responds by explaining his missions. Instead of wanting fans, vinay vvs is aiming to create a whole community of people to connect with. Having basic fans who just enjoy music is not something he wishes for; he wants the people to be obsessed with his music. With this energy entering the Indian music scene, there will be some change in the audience of desi hip hop. Currently studying in London, there will be wrath when he returns to India. Even though the music flow is constant at this point, in the future things might get more significant.
"Just don’t give a fuck about anything or what anyone says. The only validation you ever need is from yourself. Don’t let external sources and influences mask your confidence to create."
