A dimly lit room, the anticipation palpable as you press play, and the first notes of "Dhaage" begin to weave their magic. As the music unfolds, it's not just an EP, it's a journey, a captivating tale told through melody and rhythm. "Dhaage" emerges not just as a compilation of songs, but as an emotional voyage. Each track feels like a page torn from the diary of life. Secrets for Sale and Vedang clearly weren't bound by a quest for commercial success, they birthed an EP that felt like a personal confession, a shared secret with everyone who lent an ear. "Dhaage" isn't just about catchy hooks or polished beats but more like an unfiltered expression of emotion, an authentic journey through the highs and lows of the human experience.

Origin Story
The roots of "Dhaage" can be traced back to the collaboration between Paritosh and Vedang, who were experimenting with the fusion of pop, rock, and hip-hop elements. Upon the addition of Tan9oCharlie, they realized that they have stumbled upon something extraordinary. This fusion of creative minds resulted in the birth of "Dhaage," an EP that explores the complexities of toxic relationships and spiritual exploration.
Unveiling the Metaphorical Threads
The central metaphor of "Dhaage," symbolizing the ties binding individuals to higher powers, weaves through each track. The EP evolves from a contemplation of relationships to a spiritual exploration of faith, doubt, and personal liberation.

Roles and Contributions
Vedang takes the helm in production, arrangement, and mixing, while Paritosh crafts the poetic lyrics and compositions. Tan9oCharlie lends his evocative vocals, and the EP is adorned with guitar pieces by Mikail and Paritosh from Secrets for Sale. The masterful touch of Maximoltz in mastering completes the ensemble, creating a seamless collaborative masterpiece.
The Birth of a Musical Identity
“We did not set out with the explicit intention of delivering something "fresh." Instead, we organically merged our styles, which resulted in a unique sound that draws influence from Indian rock bands like "Local Train" and melodic rappers such as Juice Wrld and Xxxtentacion.”

Track by Track Exploration
"Dhaage" is a song that talks about the connections between a person and something higher. It suggests that when bad things happen, these connections can weaken. The song asks a tough question: how long should you keep believing in help that never really comes?
"Mere Naseeb" is like a sad poem, telling the story of finding a love that is destined to end sadly. It captures the mixed emotions of discovering someone special but realizing that, over time, the initial excitement might fade, revealing the ordinary aspects of the relationship.
On the other hand, "Dekho Na" is a lively and fun song. It's perfect for a party with its energetic beats and happy story. The lyrics talk about being really into someone and not being sorry about it. It's a track that's all about enjoying the moment and having a good time on the dance floor.
Collaborative Alchemy: Adding Nanku and Nerak
The collaborative process unfolded organically, with Nanku and Nerak joining the project at opportune moments. Nanku's distinctive feature in "Dekho Na" was a natural fit, while Nerak's poetic touch elevated "Dhaage" to new artistic heights.
“Nanku has been a long-time collaborator/friend of mine and Dekho Na was a track which was screaming for his feature. So, I had to get him on it. Nerak also has been a long-time friend and a collaborator and especially an artist with a brilliant growth. Dhaage was a song which needed a verse with a poetic touch and couldn’t think of anyone apart from him.” shared Vedang
