Mumbai is a city full of shattered aspirations and lifelong ambitions. A place always catching up to the restless motion, where everyone is trying to achieve their goals. A metropolis where hopes and yearnings develop into more than a symbol of survival, a city where these dreams are converted into dreams. With thousands of people inhabiting this pursuit, Chakatsu proves to be distinct from others with his latest and first single "Ranka".

Born and brought up in the slums of Bombay, music has always been a "Langotiya Yaar" to him. With his father playing tabla in a church choir since his childhood, music was always present in the blood of our rising star. Venturing into learning music at the age of eleven, he was able to be enrolled in a Tabla class at a school where she used to teach. With the foundation for music laid by his mother, he decided to accomplish something for himself and his mother’s resilience. This led to his primary goal, which is to be the trendiest rap artist in India. Through his distinctive charisma and style, he promises to always surprise and bring unique ideas and sounds to the listeners in his upcoming ventures.

"Apart from this, I have dreamt of that day, when I will be holding a mike standing on the stage for thousands or maybe lakhs of people, and my fans shouting out my name."

Talking about his debut song "Ranka" which follows a dark-themed tone, empowered by a much grimmer music video. He shares how he was aiming to make something like this and how he and his producer Knine Music were able to produce that. Promising to be different from others, Ranka brings back the fear of Yamraj and describes the story of a sinner and his afterlife. It is probably the first rap song that shows the interaction of Yamraj and an angel for a sinner’s soul. He shares with us the note that he is planning to explore more direction in terms of musical style and sound with his upcoming songs.

"I would like to announce my upcoming two albums through the Outsiders magazine, which would reach the highest grossing in the history of Indian rap music.

a) Bed talks- This would be my debut album, consisting of 4 songs.

b) Naqab- The second album, which would have 3-4 songs."

With the concepts and ideas, he is about to showcase to the world something that they have never seen before. Giving his flowers to Divine and Krshna, he wishes that someday his idols will hear his music. Talking about any learning he has gained throughout the process of making music, he shares an important learning that how people will only listen to you if you are different. With such a hurdle of crowd striving in this music industry, the unique one only survives in the long run. He follows this by reciting teaching his Ustad once said to him "Music is a space, where you will either flow to an infinite distance or will be dumped on an unknown planet, due to the gravitational force".  Realizing at a very early stage of life that he is alone in this journey, Chakatsu shows no lack of enthusiasm. Pulling off the curtain with the talk of his upcoming project, he shares that the track " Malika" from his upcoming album "Bed Talks" is one of his favourite written songs. About the project itself, he describes it as a presentation of the art and bond of seduction. With the hopes for the waves of the upcoming music to cause a tsunami in the listener's minds, he bids his farewell to us and embarks on this long journey ahead of his.

"My Name is enough ‘CHAKASTU’ - Let My Name Be Shining."

"I lived in the chawls of Mumbai for 22 years, and I thank God for the same. In the future, if someone approaches me with new concepts, I will proudly say ‘come to the chawls of Mumbai Habibi"
