I still recall my earliest memories made when my whole family took an outing from all the city bustle, leaving behind the heated life for a moment on a trip to the northeast of India. As a child who had just entered school, it held a deep significance in my heart making it my first family trip that I still recollect. Our trip initially planned to explore all the seven sisters, we spent most of our time wandering through the streets of Guwahati. I still remember exploring portions of the places we toured, the crowded streets covered with a strong fragrance of delicacies, driving through fields covered in bliss, taking a detox from ourselves, and recognizing things that we never really knew were valuable. The trip had an enormous influence on me for the following years, in some way shaping me the way I am today. With the continual of life, it's been a very long time since I recalled those days, neglecting the seeds of my very own essence. A few days ago, I stumbled upon the music video "Roshni", by a band named the butterflyS effect_india. After finishing listening to the song, there was a strong gush in me reminding me of those days I eventually bypassed. A small ecstasy within me was felt as I started to learn more about myself again. It was like rediscovering yourself in a small crater and re-embracing it all over again. Subsequently, to that feeling, I had to inspect more about this band.
Founded in Dibrugarh, Assam in 2021, ‘The Butterfly Effect India’ is a music collective co-founded by Debabrata Gogoi(Vocalist) and Digbijay Gogoi(Drums), later joined by Akash Tim Sina(Guitars) AndJinnay Chowdang Boruah(Bass). They commenced this project by recording & releasing their first Assamese single "Prerona". Fast forward to 2024, they have released their new single "Jee raha" which is receiving a good reaction from the listeners. When asked about the meaning behind the name of the group, the term "Butterfly Effect" illustrates the idea that small things can have non-linear impacts. This connotation is associated with the music created and provided by the band.

Out as an independent act, there are not many problems faced with production finances and recording since the drummer owns a commercial studio, everything from mixing to mastering is done by Digbijya. In terms of video production, the total cost is split among the members, since everyone has an equal voice and stands in the band.
