Arjun Lal who goes under the title Alpha's World, aged 25 is breaking into the desi hip-hop scene with his Memphis-influenced infused into desi hip-hop. Born in Delhi, Arjun spent most of his early budding years in the streets and parks of Los Angeles. Los Angeles, a city that holds a distinguished position in not only the global hip-hop scene but as a cultural genealogy too. Being one of the biggest households producing globally renowned artists in the field of creation, our young lad was not so oblivious to the influence. As he entered his adolescent stage, rap slowly started to consume his playlists and streaming services. Being introduced to the genre in a much deeper sense, rap was everything to him. Having an intensive knowledge of poetry, Arjun started to write verses and rhymes just as a regular practice. It was not until 2018, that he seriously started to pursue this as a career and the following year entered the rap game.
"I think India is going to be the most exciting Hip-Hop Market within the next 5 years, and all I can hope is that I’m a part of the rise in the country."
When asked about his first song, the Los Angeles-based rapper does not recall one since he's been making remixes and songs for over a decade!!! Slowly becoming comfortable and satisfied with his music as he improved, the first remix he released in 2019 on Soundcloud of the infamous track "The Story Of O.J" by Jay-Z. This was also the same time when he was about to graduate. Performing at any opportunity given to him, he started to gain confidence and started to go under the persona "Alpha's World". On a quest for self-exploration and mastery of art, Alpha believes he is nowhere near his full potential. Even after writing for a decade, there is still room for improvement which is exciting. The whole journey of being an artist has been years of internal and external bridging the gap between "Arjun" and "Alpha" which is now starting to overlap.

"Often, I’ve realized things come out best on the first go. So, I would recommend writing everything down! You never know when those two lines are going to come in handy, and which random stanza could change your career."

With his next project on the way, in April, we will be blessed with the rapper's upcoming EP "In My Zone" which is a literal translation of his headspace over the past 6-7 months. Having diverse sounds, from Lofi jazz-hop and aggressive hard bars, this 6-pack EP will define a different stage of his growth. Following the release of that, he will immediately follow it back with his project which he is working on simultaneously "INDIE SZN" which will be his magnum opus, a collection of his best works to date. Wanting more information about that, Arjun teases us with a teaser
